How We Review
Our research is based on publicly available information published by education providers. Criteria vary with the type of program being reviewed.
What we evaluate
- Curriculum — Scope and structure
- Learning format — Didactic vs. case-based
- Case-based learning — Reader-style practice
- CME / CPD — Availability & documentation
- Subspecialty — Breadth of coverage
- Instructor info — Who teaches it
- Pricing — Transparency of cost
- Access period — How long you can learn
- Platform usability — Navigation and playback
- Support — Help and learning resources
Not every factor applies to every program. A short CME activity, a subspecialty course series, and a fellowship-style certificate program are assessed against different expectations, and we say which factors we applied on each page.
How we research programs
We read the provider’s published curriculum, format descriptions, accreditation statements, access terms, and support documentation, then organise what we find against a consistent structure so programs can be compared. Where a provider does not publish something, we say it is not published rather than estimating it.
We do not imply hands-on testing. If a page is based on direct use of a platform, that page will say so explicitly.
How we handle pricing
Pricing is recorded as published by the provider at the time of writing and can change without notice, vary by region, or differ for institutional purchasers. Always confirm the current price on the provider’s own checkout before purchasing.
How we handle CME / CPD information
We report what the provider states about accreditation, credit type, and documentation. We do not accredit programs and we cannot confirm whether an activity satisfies your licensing board, specialty board, or employer requirements. Verify eligibility with the provider and with your own governing body.
How affiliate relationships work
The website may enter affiliate relationships, which means we could receive compensation when readers purchase through certain links. Compensation does not determine factual conclusions, does not guarantee coverage, and does not guarantee favourable coverage. Where an affiliate link is used, it will be disclosed.
Corrections and updates
If something on this website is inaccurate or out of date, tell us and we will review it. Substantive corrections are made to the page itself. Education providers are welcome to submit factual corrections about their own programs.
Editorial independence
Editorial decisions are made independently of any commercial relationship. Providers do not review or approve our content before publication.
